My first ribbon cutting ceremony participation ever!
I had the chance to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony at Lower Keys Medical Center this week as part of their recent renovation project.

The project, done in collaboration with the Florida Keys Council of the Arts, features work by local artists throughout the hospital, including two of my paintings.
I was able to meet members of the hospital leadership team, including the CEO, as well as local officials involved in the project.

It was a great opportunity to see the finished spaces and how the artwork is being used in both the lobby and patient rooms.
And, as it turned out, I ended up getting quite a bit of one-on-one time—something I didn’t expect, but definitely appreciated.
