The Art Sales "Starter Kit" Class:
An easy 4 week class where we set you up to get your art seen, appreciated and sold!
We meet in person in my studio. It's easy, it's low-tech and we walk through it hand in hand. #totallydoable *
If you feel your friends and/or family aren't taking your creative efforts seriously, THEN..........
Maybe it's time you thought about selling some of your art. (Heck, you've probably already thought about it, but aren't sure how to start.)
Wouldn't you like to......
- get rid of the nagging voice in your head that's saying, "What are you going to do with that when it's finished?"
- use your art sales money for art supplies and classes to improve your painting skills?
- get some props from your peeps and gain some creds with your family?
- Tru Dat!
The Art Sales "Starter Kit" Class sets up an easy to use on-ramp formula that won't take up a lot of your time. But will establish a basic foundation that you can customize, build on, and use forever.
Here's how it works.
The class meets in person in my studio for 4 weeks. Each week builds on the previous one and at the end of 4 weeks you have a plan designed to work for you. It's really a workshop in disguise :)
Week one we set up your foundation and all it takes is a pen and paper. SERIOUSLY, that's it! AND it's the backbone of the system I currently use.
Now we talk all things MONEY, -payments-policies-pricing-. Yes, we will tackle that thorny issue of pricing your art.
We also talk about your written materials. Spoiler alert, you only need 1 thing to get started (no, it's not a business card) and using this one thing will set you apart from the other artists. Yes, after you get started there are things you can add and we will talk briefly about them.
We go over opportunities - where to find them, how to stay on top of them, and how to show up for them whether they are in-person, on line (Facebook) or self-generated.
We MASTERMIND! Using the insights you've gained in the previous weeks and the power of the collective consciousness you create a doable* plan that's right for you, based on your personal preferences and what you want to achieve.
* I'm all about doable, because if it isn't, you won't.
HERE'S WHAT I'M GOING TO TELL YOU WHEN YOU CREATE YOUR PLAN.
A plan that's right for you doesn't involve should-s.
A plan that's right for you will feel natural.
A plan that's right for you will open your eyes to the fact that you can sell art without being all Selly-Selly.
A plan that's right for you won't be someone else's plan.
