Sailing in Safe Waters

Sailing in Safe Waters 6x8" oil on paper ©Maggie Ruley 2013
$40 unframed

After yesterday's debacle I returned to safer ground, a composition I have painted many times before:  The long stretch of beach just begging you to walk along it in the hard sand at the edge of the water.

Now for more interesting stuff.

2 new paintings I like and will possibly make some prints of them.  They are not for everyone, but kind of fun.

they are sort of a continuation of this old series, but are way more commercial.  Is that a bad thing?

  1. Your number 3 is a beautiful example of liberty of expression, just as the rest of your work! Being true to yourself is a good recipe.
