The parent organization that houses my studio is called The Studios of Key West. They have two gallery spaces and a large exhibition hall where they host workshops of all kinds, have concerts, host speakers and writers and plays. The also have 3 spaces available for artists in residence. The residencies are a month long and each month they host 3 artists. Artists are given a place to live and work in beautiful Key West. The Studios, as it is called, also excepts proposals for workshops and gallery exhibitions. There is a deadline to apply and I believe it has just passed, but this is something you have to plan for and commit to well in advance and you know how most artists are!
